Premalu is a romantic comedy film directed by Girish AD. The film was a huge hit and received great response outside Kerala as well. Starring Nazlin and Mamita Baiju, Shyam Mohan, Meenakshi Ravindran, Akhila Bhargavan, Altaf Salim, Mathew Thomas and Sangeet Pratap also played prominent roles. After the blockbuster success of the film, the makers have announced the second part.
The second part was announced at Premalu’s victory celebration in Kochi. The poster of the film has also been shared through social media. The film will hit the theaters in 2025. Minister P Rajeev, Fahad Fazil, Nazriya and Amal Neerad also participated in the victory celebration event along with the Premalu team.
The Telugu version of the film, set in the backdrop of Hyderabad, was also a big hit. Director Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya distributed the film in Telugu. The film grossed over Rs 100 crores in the theatres.
The film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Fazil and Shyam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Premalu was a film directed by Girish AD after super hit films like Thanneermattan Dinaman and Super Sharanya.
