President Biden and Former President Trump Confirmed as Democratic and Republican Candidates for 2024 Election

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have been confirmed as the Democratic and Republican candidates, respectively, for the United States presidential election to be held on November 5.

President Biden secured the 1,968 delegates needed to nominate the Democratic Party candidate in primary elections held yesterday (12th) in the state of Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington.

Former President Trump also managed to secure the 1,215 delegates needed to nominate the Republican candidate in these regional primary elections held on this day.

In a statement released after the nomination was confirmed, President Biden said voters can now choose whether they want to protect America’s democracy or allow others to destroy it.

President Biden also appealed for support for him, saying voters can choose whether to restore the right to choose and protect freedom, or allow extremists to take freedom away.

Former President Trump also attacked President Biden as “the worst president in American history” in a video posted on social media predicting a change in immigration policy implemented by the Biden administration.

Former President Trump also said that if he becomes president, he will make the US economy the best in the world.
