On the 25th, President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol said, “Even after President Moon Jae-in proposed dialogue, there was no contact from the (Blue House) working group.” He said that as the conflict between President Moon and President-elect Yoon escalated to an all-out war, the meeting was delayed, and there was no under-the-ground contact between the two sides.

At a briefing held at the presidential takeover committee in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, President-elect Kim Eun-hye, spokesperson for the new president, said, “I know that President Moon proposed a conversation yesterday, but to the best of my knowledge, I was contacted by the Blue House. No,” he said.

He again criticized the authority to appoint an audit committee member of the Board of Audit and Inspection, which has emerged as the core of the conflict between the two sides. Spokesperson Kim said, “I don’t think we would send people from our government to the Board of Audit and Inspection at the end of our tenure to monitor and check power.”

He also criticized Minister Park Beom-gye’s opposition to the abolition of the Justice Minister’s investigative authority, which Yoon-elect promised. Spokesperson Kim said, “I hope and urge that the transition committee and the government take over procedures that are common sense in the eyes of the people will proceed.”
