On the 15th, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo said, “I deeply regret that it was made public without fully seeking the consent of the bereaved families, which is the most basic procedure.”

Prime Minister Han criticized this at the Disaster Countermeasures and Security (Critical Response) Central Headquarters meeting held at the Sejong Government Complex that day, saying, “Online media released a list of people who died yesterday.”

Prime Minister Han stressed, “The government will continue to do its best to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the bereaved families and injured people.”

Prime Minister Han said, “Ten (10) of those injured in the Itaewon disaster are still receiving treatment in hospital beds.

In addition, they asked, “Lead the lost property with enough time so that the bereaved or injured can visit it,” and “take advice from experts and store the lost property so that it is not damaged.”

The Itaewon Disaster Lost and Found Center, which was located on the first floor of the multi-purpose indoor gymnasium in Wonhyo-ro, Yongsan-gu, closed from the 13th, and the remaining 700 items are being detained by Yongsan Police Station.
