Vivo X90 Pro+ uses a 1″ camera sensor, 75% larger than the S23 Ultra.

The vivo X90 Series is set to launch in China on November 22. Now, vivo has released a teaser confirming that the flagship vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a 1″ camera sensor with specially coated ZEISS T* lenses

The arrival of the 1-inch sensor on the vivo X90 Pro + has made Ice Universe compare it to the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra next year. “The main sensor of the light receiving area in vivo X90 Pro+ is 75% larger than that of the S23 Ultra. Against such a high-end sensor, it’s hard to beat the S23 Ultra.”

It’s like confirming that next year’s Galaxy S23 Ultra won’t have a 1″ sensor as big as its competitors. Yes, if the camera sensor is less than 1″.

However, there is still the issue of software that comes in to process the image to make it look better in this day and age. It remains to be seen if Samsung chooses to use a sensor smaller than 1″ and a high resolution of 200MP with new software instead. How can it be a model with a similar camera to competitors moving to higher end hardware? It’s really worth following.
