[モスクワ 25日 ロイター] – The Russian government warned on Wednesday that Poland is playing a “very dangerous game” by considering the possibility of using nuclear weapons from the United States.

Earlier, Polish President Duda announced that he would discuss with Prime Minister Tusk on 1 May the possibility of using nuclear weapons in Poland, which is a member state of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

President Duda has said before that he is ready for such a situation, and Prime Minister Tusk said that he needs a clear explanation from the president.

According to the Russian News Agency (RIA), Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov called these talks provocative. “If the situation continues down this path of escalation, it will cause further tensions. This is a very dangerous game and the outcome will be difficult to predict.”
