Prithviraj, Dulquer Salmaan | Inspection by the Income Tax Department at the offices of Prithviraj and Dulquar

Kochi: The Income Tax Department has inspected the film production companies of Prithviraj, Prithviraj, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Babu. The inspection took place at the offices of Pythviraj’s Prithviraj Productions, Dulquer Salman’s Wayfarer Films and Vijay Babu’s Friday Films. The inspection was carried out by the TDS section of the Income Tax Department.

The Income Tax Department officials also directed the producers Antony Perumbavoor, Anto Joseph and Listin Stephen to appear in person. The offices of Adirvad Cinemas and Magic Frame were inspected last week. The test conducted here found some discrepancy in the figures.

The raid took place at various manufacturers’ offices in Kochi. The group first raided the office of Ashirwad Cinemas at Anthony Perumbavoor’s concert stage. The inspection took place at Listin Stephen’s office on Kaloor Stadium Road and at Andro Joseph’s Antro Joseph Film Company office.

There are two main differences. TTS has been caught before the actors can be remunerated. But it is clear that many of these have not been paid as income tax. Some actors have not been paid in full. In this situation, the Income Tax Department has asked Antony Perumbavoor, Anto Joseph and Listin Stephen to appear in person with the documents. According to the Income Tax Department, the audit of the players’ salaries will continue in the coming days.
