1. Avoid contact with people with skin rashes suspected of smallpox.

2. Avoid having sex with people you don’t know.

3.​ Do not touch bumps, pus or wounds of infected animals. or remains of wild animals and consume cooked meat

4. Wear a mask.

5. Wash your hands often.

6. Don’t share personal items with others.

7. If you suspect you are infected, isolate yourself from your family/close people. and immediately consult a doctor for examination, diagnosis and treatment
