PSG announced its intention to leave in July itself; Embappe with revelation

Paris: Killian Mbabane has said that he had informed the French club PSG leadership of his intention to leave the club last July. He added that if he had done so, the club would have made money through his transfer.

The player also denied PSG director Leonardo’s claim that he was asked to leave the club in the last week of August.

Spanish club Real Madrid have made several offers to PSG for Mbabane. But all this was rejected by the French club. With this, Mbabane, whose contract with the club expires next June, will leave the club as a free agent at the end of this season.

At the same time, Embappe rejected reports that he had rejected six or seven proposals submitted by PSG in connection with the extension of the contract.

“I asked him to leave the club immediately after deciding not to extend his contract. He thought his transfer fee would help the club find a quality replacement. This is a club that has given me a lot of things. I was happy with the four years I spent here, “said Mbabane in an exclusive interview with RMC Sport.
