PTT establishes a subsidiary “Reac” to provide clean energy trading services. and greenhouse gas neutrality through a digital platform that provides customers with easy access to renewable energy sources, such as trading renewable energy certificates.
Mr. Atthaphon Rerkpiboon, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited or PTT, revealed that the Board of Directors of Alpha Com Company Limited (Alpha Com), a subsidiary of PTT, holds 100 shares. % In the meeting No. 12/21 on October 11, 2021, it was resolved to approve the establishment of ReAcc Company Limited (“ReAcc”), with Alpha Com holding 100% with a registered capital of 29 million baht with the objective of being a service agent. Trading in clean energy and climate neutrality through a digital platform for companies that aim and want to provide renewable energy with easy access to such energy sources. Its main services include trading in renewable energy certificates (RECs), a system for purchasing electricity in the form of a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA).
It also includes the use of renewable energy to electric vehicles. Such business development is in line with PTT’s New S-Curve strategy in renewable energy business. The registration of the establishment of the said company was completed on November 29, 2021.
