Putin for cancer surgery; Report that a temporary transfer of power may take place

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly set to undergo a cancer operation and hand over power temporarily. The New York Post quoted a Telegram channel run by a former lieutenant general of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service. Putin is reportedly handing over power to Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, who is currently undergoing surgery for cancer.

Putin’s doctors have advised him to undergo surgery. The surgery and the time it takes to recover may have put Putin out of power for a while. Many of the recent films have been speculative about Putin’s health. In addition to cancer, Putin has been reported to have serious illnesses, including Parkinson’s.

A few days ago, Putin spoke “openly” with Nikolai Patrushev. The conversation lasted about two hours. It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to Putin. Putin has assured that if his health deteriorates, real control of the country will soon be in Patroshev’s hands.

The owner of the Telegram channel that leaked information about Putin’s cancer treatment says that Patrushev is a complete villain. Patrushev is smarter than Putin. Not only that, but it’s more sophisticated than Putin. “If Patroshev comes to power, Russia’s problems will only get worse,” he added. Putin is unlikely to agree to hand over power for a long time. He added that Russia’s control was unlikely to remain in place for more than two or three days.

The Security Council is the governing body of Russia’s military and security forces. Patrushev is its secretary. This is a committee very close to President Putin. The majority of the power of the Security Council is vested in Patrushev. Like Putin, Patrushev began his career as Russia’s intelligence agent. He first served in the KGB of the Soviet Union and later in the FSB of Russia.
