Kozhikode > A police inspector entered the station and was arrested on a complaint of rape. Thrikakkara Police of Kozhikode Coastal Station arrested CI Sunu. The arrest was made on the complaint of a housewife from Thrikakkara that Sunu had been gang-raped.
The action took place last May. Sunu was taken into custody as soon as he arrived at the station and started work. Thrikakkara police reached the coastal station after Farooq informed the DySP. After completing the formalities and recording the arrest, the inspector was taken to Ernakulam. There are indications that there will be more arrests in the case.
