Red Bull Racing has decided to end its pursuit of Aston Martin F1’s “Green Red Bull”.
Recently, Red Bull Racing has begun an internal investigation, claiming that the Aston Martin F1 may have stolen intellectual property rights during the design process of the “B-spec” AMR22, which closely resembles the Red Bull RB18. ..
But Helmut Marko, Red Bull F1’s motorsports adviser, told motorsport-total.com, “At the moment, we can’t prove anything concrete.”
“We don’t see Aston Martin as a direct competitor, so we decided not to pursue it.”
“What you can’t prove in black and white should be left alone.”
Helmut Marko also said he had never directly accused the Aston Martin F1 of stealing protected information.
“I said the data was downloaded,” Helmut Marko said.
“I didn’t say where it was going.”
“But I want the FIA to be clear about how far it can go. We have a sister team, AlphaTauri. If you interpret what happened consistently, AlphaTauri should look like Red Bull. ”
