Liverpool and Manchester United in Transfer Tussle for Fulham’s Anthony Robinson

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly vying for the signature of Fulham left-back Anthony Robinson in the January transfer window.

The Reds are seeking a replacement for Andrew Robertson, who struggled with injuries last season, leading to a decline in form. Robinson, being three years younger, has been impressing with Fulham and could be a long-term solution for the Scottish full-back position.

Manchester United are also keen to bolster their left-back position, which has been plagued by injuries, including Luke Shaw’s absence from the starting lineup. Tyrell Malacia, Shaw’s replacement, has also been sidelined due to a serious knee injury, forcing coach Ten Haag to deploy Diogo Dalot in the position.

Robinson’s potential signing would be a significant boost to the Red Devils, and Fulham may be willing to let him go for around £30m, the price they value him at. Having signed him from Wigan in 2020, Fulham may be open to selling him for the right price.

With five appearances and two goals under his belt this season, Robinson has demonstrated his experience and prowess in the Premier League, making him an attractive target for both Liverpool and Manchester United.
