Report on CHP’s Sezgin Tanrıkulu was sent to the Ministry of Justice

An investigation was launched against CHP Diyarbakır Deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office due to his remarks targeting the Turkish Armed Forces in the TV program he participated in. The report prepared against Tanrıkulu for the crimes of ‘publicly inciting the public to hatred and hostility’ and ‘publicly insulting the state’s military and security forces’ was sent to the Ministry of Justice.

In the statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was stated that “The report prepared against the 28th Term Deputy Mustafa Sezgin Tanrıkulu, for whom an investigation was initiated by the Parliamentary Bureau of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, for the crimes of ‘publicly inciting the public to hatred and hostility’ and ‘publicly insulting the military and security forces of the State’, was sent to the Ministry of Justice.” .
