Seungan, a member of the rookie group RIIZE from SM Entertainment, issued an apology ahead of the official Instagram appearance of the group. On August 30th, Seungan posted a statement on RIIZE’s official Instagram account, acknowledging the privacy controversy and expressing remorse for the consequences it had on the team.

Seungan admitted, “At a crucial moment right before our debut, I deeply regret that my personal matter has caused harm to the team. I am truly disappointed in myself and have let down my fellow members and the company staff.”

Apologizing for the delay in addressing the issue promptly, Seungan stated, “Out of fear and concern, I hesitated to apologize earlier. I sincerely apologize for my actions.”

Emphasizing his commitment to the group, Seungan added, “Moving forward, I will prioritize the well-being of RIIZE. I promise to exercise caution not only on stage but in every aspect of my life.”

Recently, a photograph of what appears to be Seungan kissing a woman has circulated on various social media platforms and online community bulletin boards. Netizens who came across the photo raised concerns about the age of the woman pictured and engaged in various discussions.

In response to this situation, SM Entertainment, the agency representing RIIZE, strongly condemned the unauthorized leaking and distribution of the photo, labeling it an obvious illegal act.

SM Entertainment stated, “We are collecting information on individuals who have posted the pictures online. Furthermore, we are closely monitoring instances of secondary harm, such as sharing, distribution, and reproduction. Those engaged in criminal activities will face legal consequences. We urge everyone to refrain from involvement in any unpleasant activities related to this incident.”

The statement released by Seungan concluded with an acknowledgment of his remorse and the negative impact this situation had on the fans and the team just before their debut.

Meanwhile, the seven-member rookie group RIIZE is set to make their debut on the 4th with their first single album titled ‘Get A Guitar’.
