The Al-Taawoun team succeeded in coming back from a two-goal deficit to win by three goals over its counterpart Al-Taei in the match that brought them together this evening, Tuesday, in the match of the 26th round of the Roshen League.
Al-Taie team took the lead after 20 minutes with a goal scored by Al-Taawoun player Andre Guto by mistake, then Marko Dugandzic added the second goal in the 30th minute, before Abdul-Malik Al-Shammari reduced the score with a goal in the 45th minute + 2 for Al-Taawoun.
Player Joao Pedro equalized the score with a goal he scored for Al-Taawoun in the 73rd minute of the match, then his teammate Mohamed Al-Kwaikbi added in the 86th minute.
The victory raised the Al-Taawoun team’s score to 46 points, in fifth place in the Roshen League table, with a goal difference from Al-Ittihad, which is in fourth place.
After the loss, Al-Tai’s score stopped at point 22 in 16th place, two points behind Al-Akhdood, which is in 15th place.
