Russia Denies Involvement in Plane Crash that Killed Head of Wagner Group

Moscow – In a tragic incident that claimed the lives of 10 individuals, including the prominent figure Yevgeny Prigoshin, Russia has vehemently denied any involvement. The Russian military confirmed that the pilot and all passengers onboard the aircraft lost their lives. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences on the untimely demise.

In the aftermath of the crash, several countries, including the United States, have cast suspicion on President Putin. The US has labelled the incident as a deliberate explosion intended to assassinate Prigoshin. However, the Kremlin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, promptly dismissed these allegations as lies propagated by Western powers.

Concerns were raised by the UK regarding the absence of evidence pointing towards Prigoshin’s presence on the ill-fated plane. Moreover, the Pentagon has refuted claims of a ground-launched missile downing the aircraft. Accusations have also emerged, suggesting the involvement of the United States in the attack.

The tragic crash occurred during a flight from Moscow to St Petersburg, shortly after takeoff.
