With a displacement of 2,600 tons, BRP Jose Rizal is 107m long and 13.8m wide, providing significant stability and durability for long missions at sea. Using a combined diesel and gas turbine engine system (CODAD) with four 12-cylinder MTU-STX diesel engines, the train can reach a maximum speed of up to 46km/h and a range of 8,300km. One of the ship’s notable attack weapons is the SSM-700K C-Star missile, an anti-ship missile developed by Korea.
