Today, Russia raised the issue of the “dangerous situation surrounding the Constitutional Court of BiH” in the United Nations Security Council, said the spokesman of the permanent mission of Russia to the UN. Fyodor Stržižovski.

Stržižovski stated that decision-making is in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina “without the participation of the Serbs or any other state-forming nation of BiH, the path leads to the destruction of the Dayton structure and, what is especially dangerous, to a potential conflict”.

Today, Russia raised the issue of the dangerous situation surrounding the Constitutional Court of BiH in the UN Security Council. Due to the provocative changes in the rules of its work, Republika Srpska is excluded from the decision-making process”said Stržižovski.

He pointed out that the continuation of the work of three foreign judges in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an anachronism, Sputnik reports.

“All these steps fit into the policy of Western countries to maintain the state of protectorate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, among other things, through the illegitimate Christian Schmidt who did not receive the approval of VSUN. However, we are convinced that the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to decide on their own, without external control, the future vector of their country’s development based on mutual respect and seeking compromises.said the Russian diplomat.
