SA vs IND: King arrives to capture series; KL Rahul says Virat Kohli will play in Cape Town

Johannesburg: India captain Virat Kohli will return to the team for the third Test against South Africa (South Africa vs India 3rd Test). Injured Kohli did not play in the second Test (South Africa vs India 2nd Test) in Johannesburg. Captain Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the Wanderers Test due to back pain. The captain, who has resumed training, will return to the team for the crucial Test in Newlands Cape Town.

Coach Rahul Dravid has also hinted that Kohli will return to the team. KL Rahul said that Pujara and Rahane have regained their confidence with their half-century at Wanderers.

The third and final Test of the series starts on Tuesday in Cape Town. India can win Test series in South Africa for the first time in history if they win in Cape Town. Team India won the first Test at Centurion by 113 runs before returning to South Africa at Wanderers. Proteas won by seven wickets.

The first two sessions on the fourth day at Wanderers were completely drenched, but South Africa were bowled out for 240 in the final session, losing just three wickets. South Africa’s captain Dean Elgar was the unbeaten 96. Razi Wander Dawson (40) and Temba Bauma (23) also contributed to South Africa’s victory on the fourth day. Score: India 202, 266, South Africa 229, 243-3.
