The film is being produced by Dulquer Salman under the banner of Wafere Films and Sebab Anicad under the banner of My Dreams Entertainment. After the blockbuster success of ‘Kurup’, this is another film produced by Dulquer Salman. ‘Upacharapurvam Gunda Jayan’ is the 100th film of Saiju Kurup’s career. The film is scripted by Rajesh Verma.
According to insiders, Gunda Jayan is set to become a pukka comedy entertainer. Its trailer and its beautiful songs are already a super hit. The film stars young Malayalam actors Siju Wilson and Shabarish Varma along with Johnny Antony, Sabumon, Sudheer Karamana, Jafar Idukki, Biju Sopanam, Vigilesh, Baiju Ezhupunna, Thattim Muttim fame Sagar Surya, Vrinda Menon, Nayana and Parvathy.
