Samsung Electronics Acquires ‘Business Continuity Management System’ Certification – Samsung Electronics Semiconductor Newsroom

Samsung Electronics received ‘ISO 22301’ certification, an international standard for ‘Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)’, from the British Standards Institution.

The business continuity management system refers to a company’s ability to reduce the impact of business disruptions due to various disasters and troubles and restore core business in the shortest time to normalize business.

With this certification, Samsung Electronics’ semiconductor business is expected to gain more trust from global customers and strengthen its business competitiveness.

Samsung Electronics plans to expand the business continuity management system initially established at the Hwaseong Campus to domestic and overseas semiconductor plants.
