‘In 25 days’… Samsung’s ‘Bespoke AI Steam’ robot vacuum exceeds 10,000 units sold

[디지털데일리 옥송이 기자] Samsung Electronics announced on the 28th that its ‘Purpose AI Steam’ robot vacuum cleaner, introduced on the 3rd, exceeded 10,000 units in cumulative sales within 25 days of launch.
AI dedicated steam robot vacuum cleaner is featured as it has wet mop steam sterilization function and upgraded AI function.
The wet mop steam sterilization function automatically cleans the wet mop with high temperature steam and water. It is secondly characterized by ‘steam sterilization’ at 100 ℃ to remove 99.99% of various bacteria, including E. coli, on the surface of the wet mop, and then drying the mop with ‘hot air drying’ at 55 ℃.
AI-based driving performance and object recognition technology have also been significantly upgraded. The AI floor recognition function allows for customized cleaning by classifying floor environments such as hardwood floors and carpets. Depending on the length of the carpet hairs, it automatically separates or lifts the wet mop for cleaning and automatically adjusts the suction power.
The AI object recognition function uses a 3D obstacle detection sensor and an RGB object recognition camera to identify and avoid various objects. In addition, using the SmartThings app, you can not only operate and manage cleaning, but also check the structure of the house and the status of cleaning through 3D mapping.
In addition, Bespoke AI Steam, along with the Bespoke AI Family Hub Refrigerator, were validated for Internet of Things (IoT) security security by UL Solutions, a global certification company, and became the first in the industry to receive the industry’s highest rating, Diamond. It was recognized for its security performance that strongly protects personal information.
