Mumbai – Former India player Sanjay Manjrekar is of the opinion that senior player Virat Kohli should not play in the Indian team for the Twenty20 World Cup. Manjrekar while talking to sports media said that Malayalee player Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant should play in the team led by Rohit Sharma. Hardik Pandya is also absent from Sanjay Manjrekar’s playing XI.
Ravindra Jadeja and Krunal Pandya are all rounders. Rajasthan Royals stars Joshu Khan and Yuzvendra Chehal are also in the team. The International Cricket Council has suggested that the team for the Twenty20 World Cup be announced before May 1. The Indian team will be announced based on their performance in the IPL.
