Sanju Samson’s Fans Eagerly Await His Opportunity In India’s Third T20I Against Afghanistan Before T20 World Cup

Bengaluru: In the first two matches of the Twenty20 series against Afghanistan, Team India did not give Malayali wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson a chance. The management decided to play Jitesh Sharma in the matches held in Mohali and Indore. With this, Sanju and his fans are waiting for the opportunity in the third Twenty20 in Team India’s last series before the T20 World Cup.

Sanju was the shining star when BCCI’s official Facebook page shared many pictures of Team India’s training at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the venue of the 3rd T20I. Rishabh Pant, who is recuperating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru after a serious injury in a car accident, was a guest in the Indian camp. But the picture of Sanju Samson swinging the bat in the nets impressed the fans more than the picture of Rishabh Pant. Rishabh’s photo of him playing Kusalam with hero Rohit Sharma got more than 4000 reactions on FB, while a photo of Sanju Samson batting in the nets crossed 7000 reactions. Sanju’s other movie also got more than 2000 responses. Meanwhile, Indian star batsman Virat Kohli’s picture got more than 3000 reactions on Facebook.

With this, many cricket lovers are making fun of BCCI’s strategy to get likes by posting Sanju Samson’s picture. Fans criticize, even though the BCCI player is not playing, the photo is posted. Hundreds of fans could be seen under the two pictures of Sanju, wishing him well in the hope that he would play in the third T20I against Afghanistan. Sanju’s fans said, ‘Atang hanggi’, a comment that highlights the number of people who like the picture.
