Saudi Arabia Prepares for World Cup Qualifier Against Indonesia
Saudi Arabia’s national football team started training in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday. They are getting ready for a match against Indonesia on Tuesday. This game will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium and is part of the sixth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Head coach Hervé Renard led the team through their training session at Gelora Jakarta Stadium. The players began with warm-up exercises. They then practiced possession drills, followed by finishing exercises on goal, and ended with stretching.
Player Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti is still rehabilitating under the care of medical staff. Currently, the Saudi team is in third place in their group. They have six points, tied with Australia in second place, while Japan is at the top with more points.
