Two police officers in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, had an affair inside the police station while on duty. Although both men were punished by the authorities after the incident came to light, they were only fined for a month and their wages were reduced.

Japanese media reported that a 35-year-old male police officer and a 27-year-old female police officer in Hyogo Prefecture, although both were married, engaged in indecent acts, including sexual behavior, at a police station in Hanshin district in August last year. According to reports, the two were supposed to be driving a police car on patrol at the time, but did not.

The two policemen later admitted to the inappropriate behavior saying that they carried out the behavior because they could not control their desires. Hyogo Prefecture Police imposed a one-month pay cut on two police officers who violated regulations. However, in reality, Hyogo Prefectural Police had indecent behavior and police officers were warned three and four years ago Hyogo Prefectural Police said these behaviors are intolerable and they will work hard to prevent them from happening again.
