Seibu announced on the 22nd that Shuta Tonozaki, an outfielder with domestic free agent (FA) rights, said, “I have decided to stay with the Lions.” In 2015, Tonozaki went to Seibu in the 3rd place in the draft by Fuji University. While defending various positions in the infield and outfield, he has a .249 batting average in 802 games at first base.
