[마이데일리 = 최용재 기자]Senegal national team midfielder Pape Sar, famous for ‘Hoping for Son Heung-min’ at Tottenham in the English Premier League (EPL), has benefited from a huge pay rise.
Sarr was unable to establish himself after moving to Tottenham in 2021, but has grown rapidly under new manager Enze Postekoglu this season. He played an important role in Tottenham’s development, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in 18 games this season.
Tottenham gave Sar a contract renewal. On the 3rd, Tottenham announced on its official website, “We have signed a new contract with Sarr until 2030. We are happy to announce this news.”
When he signed a new contract, he also received a huge pay rise. Before renewing his contract, Sarr’s weekly salary was around 10,000 pounds (16.64 million earned). I was at the bottom of the team.
