Seraphim Medical Center launched the Brain Wellness & Sleep Center on Sept. 30, 2026, establishing an international-standard facility in Indonesia designed to treat urban lifestyle health issues including chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, and cognitive decline. Operating as a business unit of Bethsaida Healthcare, the new center combines modern medical diagnostics with evidence-based wellness programs under one roof.
Addressing Urban Stress And Sleep Disorders
Urban lifestyle demands in Indonesia frequently involve long working hours, restricted sleep schedules, heavy gadget use, and elevated work-related stress. Iwan A. Setiawan, Director of Sales, Marketing & Business Development at Bethsaida Healthcare, stated during a Sept. 30, 2026 press conference that these habits often trigger problems like brain fog, reduced focus, and persistent fatigue.
“We know all urban communities sometimes find it difficult to sleep. High work, high activity, high stress. Sometimes we can say that becomes a common thing, whereas according to medical studies, sleep quality greatly affects a person’s quality of life,” Iwan said.
Neurological Risks Of Chronic Sleep Deprivation
Dr. Oktaviana Niken P., a neurologist with a fellowship in neurorestoration, explained that continuous lack of sleep damages brain function by interrupting the nerve cell repair and memory consolidation process. Persistent sleep issues elevate stress and cortisol hormones while raising the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

“Movement modulation has its initiation from the brain, the center of thought, the center of concentration, executive center, attention center, memory consolidation, including the regulation of body systems,” dr. Oktaviana stated during the launch event.
Diagnostic Technologies And Tailored Treatments
The center evaluates patients through individual assessments to formulate customized care regimens. Available diagnostic and therapeutic tools include qEEG Brain Mapping to chart wave activity and identify stress patterns, Neurofeedback to regulate brain waves, Transcranial Pulse Stimulation for cognitive support, KINESIQ for objective motor function assessment, and Biophoton light-based recovery therapy.
Dr. Febby Astari, who holds certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine, noted that every program is personally designed based on individual assessment results. Dr. Raymond Posuma, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, added that KINESIQ testing helps clinicians objectively link motor impairments to neurological conditions and sleep quality.
