Seungmin Lee donates US Open handicap flag to World Golf History Museum

Seungmin Lee, the first winner of the US Open for the Disabled, donated the tournament winning banner to the World Golf History Museum.

The World Golf History Museum, run by Superior, announced on the 24th that Seungmin Lee had donated the hat he used during the tournament and the US Open flag to the disabled on the 18th to present the certificate and display it permanently.

Seungmin Lee became the first winner after overtime at the US Open for the Disabled held at Course 6 at Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina, USA in July. The event was hosted by the American Golf Association (USGA) and attracted 78 players from around the world.

The World Golf History Museum explained, “The items donated by Seung-Min Lee are not only very emotional for the player, but also an important step in the history of modern golf in Korea as he became the first tournament champion. “

The World Golf History Museum intends to use research materials and exhibitions for the development of golf culture, and continues to accept donations from golfers who make golf history.
