People Power Party Floor Leader Considers Action Against Vice President

Choo Kyung-ho, the floor leader of the People Power Party, has announced that he is considering taking action against Vice President for Strategic Planning Shin Ji-ho. This decision comes after Shin made comments on his personal YouTube channel that appeared to criticize Choo.

Choo met with reporters to discuss the situation, stating that he had asked Representative Han to confirm the true meaning of Shin’s remarks, along with the facts. An official from the party’s floor leader’s office explained that Shin’s remarks were false, and their intention was to confirm the necessary information.

In response to Choo’s announcement, Shin posted a message on social media, refuting the claims that Choo had pointed out his comments as ‘relevant acts.’ Shin stated that he would respond faithfully if he was informed of what the relevant acts were.

The controversy began when a panelist on Shin’s YouTube channel said, “Floor leader Choo only goes around swearing at Representative Han.” Shin responded by saying, “What good can come of criticizing Representative Han?”

Shin also strongly criticized the atmosphere at a dinner hosted by the President’s Office and party leaders, saying, “I feel like slapping myself in the face.” This was in response to an attendee who described the atmosphere as “leisurely” and enjoyable.

Supreme Council member Chin Yoon-gye raised the issue by sharing Shin’s remarks in the leadership group chat room, stating that such attacks were not helpful to the party.
