SIGMA Announces Release of Two New Lenses: 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports and 15mm F1.4 DG DN DIAGONAL FISHEYE | Art

As previously announced, SIGMA officially released two new lenses today (2/21), the 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports and the 15mm F1.4 DG DN DIAGONAL FISHEYE | Art.

500mm F5.6 DGDN OS | Sports

SIGMA 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sport is a fixed focus super telephoto lens specifically designed for mirrorless cameras. It achieves maximum image quality with a focal length of 500 mm and extremely compact and lightweight dimensions. By using multiple pieces of special low-dispersion glass lenses with large diameters that are difficult to machine, SIGMA was able to significantly reduce the size of the lens without using diffractive optical elements. At the same time, the high resolution suitable for 500mm fixed focus lenses is also achieved. The main body of the 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sport is mainly composed of high-precision technical plastic parts. Although it is small in size, it is sturdy and weather resistant. The 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports, weighing just 1,370g, is suitable for handheld shooting of wildlife, aviation, sports and other fast-moving subjects, offering photographers a new photographic experience.
