Small Mountain Village Celebrates 100-Day Party for Seventh Youngest Son

Gail Village Celebrates 100-Day Feast for Seongwoo, the Youngest Son of Jeon Dong-hoon and Ryu Sara

Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do – Laughter and applause filled the air in the small mountain village of Gail on the 22nd of the month. With a population of only 50 people, this close-knit community, mostly consisting of residents in their 60s and 70s, came together to celebrate Seongwoo, the seventh and youngest son of Jeon Dong-hoon (50) and Ryu Sara (43), on his 100th day.

The joyous occasion saw the attendance of approximately 60 people, including not only the village residents but also individuals from neighboring villages. The heartfelt gathering aimed to convey well wishes and blessings to Seongwoo.

A Heartwarming Celebration

The residents showered the youngest family member with thoughtful gifts, including clothing, and expressed their congratulations and good wishes. Seongwoo’s bright smile mirrored the joy and gratitude felt by everyone present.

Seongwoo, born on July 10th, has already brought immeasurable happiness to Gail Village, becoming a true blessing for Jeon and Ryu. Their newest addition came four years after the birth of their previous child, ending a period of longing in the community.

Kim Seok-po (61), a village resident, expressed his gratitude, stating, “The cry of the youngest child brought life back to our village. We are forever indebted to Mr. and Mrs. Jeon for this precious gift.”

A Musical Tribute

To honor Seongwoo’s special day, friends from elementary and senior school, as well as the siblings of Seongwoo’s second older sister and fifth child, Seongeun (9), performed celebratory songs. The lyrics echoed sentiments of love and joy, affirming the profound impact Seongwoo has already made on those around him.

“You are our ‘Lucky Seven,’ the seventh-born voice actor,” exclaimed one attendee, encapsulating the collective sentiment of the community.

Reading letters written by Seongeun’s friends and seniors, Kim Woo-jin (12) expressed his hope for Seongwoo’s future: “May the seventh youngest member of our community be filled with endless happiness.”

A Grateful Father

Appreciating the tremendous support from the village residents, Jeon shared, “The community’s immense assistance, particularly in farming, has been a blessing in our lives. We will always cherish their kindness and strive to reciprocate it.”

At noon on the 22nd, Gail Village, Sabuk-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. “Ha~ha”, “Hoho”, “clap clap clap”… . Population: 50 people. This small mountain village, where most of the residents are in their 60s or 70s, was full of laughter and applause. This is because a 100-day party was held for Seongwoo, the seventh youngest son of Jeon Dong-hoon (50) and Ryu Sara (43).

On this day, around 60 people came to the 100 day feast. All the residents of Gail Village and even those from nearby villages came. We got together to celebrate Seongwoo’s 100th day.

“Seongwoo, grow up healthy. “You must grow up happy”, “You are our blessing”

The residents gave the voice actor gifts for the 100th day, including clothes, and gave him congratulations and good wishes. The voice actor was also smiling brightly as if he was happy to see this.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeon gave birth to their seventh and youngest child, Seongwoo, on July 10th. The voice actor became a blessing to the village as soon as she gave birth. This is because the baby was born four years after the baby stopped crying.

Kim Seok-po (61) said, “The voice actor’s cry brought life back to the village,” and added, “I am grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Jeon.”

On this day, at the hundredth day feast, elementary and senior school friends and the children of Seongwoo’s second older sister and fifth child, Seongeun (9), came to sing congratulatory songs. “You were born to be loved… How much joy your presence in this world gives us…” The actor’s older siblings had a 100-day-old voice that sang the white song in their eyes.

“Are you the 7th born voice actor? You are our ‘Lucky Seven’.”

Kim Woo-jin (12), who read letters from Seong-eun’s friends and seniors, said, “I hope that Seong-u, the seventh youngest, will be filled with happiness.”

Father Jeon said, “The residents take care of the farming and provide a lot of help,” and added, “I will not forget the blessings the residents have given me and I will share more with them.”
