Spooky Fun in the Classroom: Celebrating Halloween at Ishida Kindergarten

　　It is now October, which means that other than Sports Day, we have one more very exciting event…Halloween!!! In Rabbit Class, we enjoy learning about different scary and cute monsters. Rabbit Class has also become slightly spookier with interesting Halloween decorations. We also recently enjoyed a special Halloween themed English Time. We were all very surprised to find a spooky magical pot on the table. Cal Sensei asked us all to gather different ingredients to create a spooky Halloween potion! With each ingredient, different scary and cute Halloween monsters jumped out of the cauldron, for example spiders, a mummy, a zombie, a skeleton, and even some candy! In Rabbit class we aren’t afraid of monsters, so we made sure to say “go away!” to the monsters that came into rabbit class. I wonder if there will be any other fun and interesting spooky surprises for the rest of this Halloween Month…
