Star Galleria Cinema in Dubai ∙ Deira Hyatt Regency is back in action. Kovid closed two years ago due to aggravation. It will be reopened as two upgraded theaters with state-of-the-art facilities. Extensive arrangements have been made, including free parking for moviegoers. Salim, Faisal and Rajan Varkala said the two theaters are set to have 323 seats and 115 seats respectively.
The last row seats are for VIPs. The ticket price is 36.75 including VAT. There will be four performances in the big theater every day at 1,4,7,10. The schedule for the small theater is 1.30, 4.30,7.30,10.30. There will be a show on the weekend at 10:30 in the morning. Pranav Mohanlal starrer Hridayam, Unni Mukundan’s Meppadiyan and Super Saranya will be screened. Salute starring Dulquar will be on display soon. Online ticket sales will begin in a week.
Rajan Varkala said that the audience is increasingly coming to the theater. Kurup movie was seen by over three lakh viewers in GCC. He pointed out that one can experience all the fun of the movie while watching it in the theater itself. Jubi Kuruvila, MD, Equity Advertising, said: Abdul Rahman, Mohammad Akbar, Faisal Panangad and Mohammad Amir were also present at the press conference.
