A man in his sixties wearing a mask is riding a bicycle and something comes out of his right pocket.

It’s nothing more than a wad of cash.

Shortly after, a woman wearing a hoodie and hat was walking down the street and found cash strewn across the street.

He was a first-year student at a nearby high school.

“I was walking when I felt like my foot was stepping on something and when I looked, there was money scattered like this. What should I do with this? Should I report it to the police station?”

Yang takes a photo of the cash on the floor and begins picking up the fallen bills one by one.

The total amount was 1.22 million won.

After collecting all the money, Yang takes the money and heads somewhere without hesitation.

We arrived at Hadong Police Station in Gyeongsangnam-do.

The police checked the CCTV cameras in collaboration with the control center, verified the identity of the person who lost it and, following the route, found a bicycle parked on the road.

“They say, ‘I think I lost my money, look for it,’ and I say, ‘I don’t think I lost it, do I?’ At first I thought there was (actually) no money.”

After recovering the lost money, the man promptly gave Yang a reward of 200,000 won and expressed his gratitude by telling her to come visit the soup restaurant he runs at any time.

“Thank you so much, you said you didn’t have to pay for the soup and you could eat it for free for the rest of your life, so I told you to come.”

The man who received the money back said, “Even these days when life has become difficult, I felt that the warmth still remains. Yang hasn’t come to eat soup yet, but I really want to treat her to a meal.” .
