The US belatedly revealed that it had already provided Ukraine with a new ATACMS long-range missile.
He explained that this is related to the fact that North Korea provides ballistic missiles to Russia.

It was revealed that Ukraine used a new ATACMS tactical surface-to-surface missile with a range of 300 kilometers during last week’s air strike on the Crimean Peninsula.
It was sent by the United States in March, and soon additional aid will be deployed to the battlefield in Ukraine.
Ukraine, which confirmed the power of the old ATACMS, which has about half the range, continued to request a better version.
The change in US lukewarm attitude appears to have been influenced by the ballistic missiles supplied by North Korea to Russia.
“This follows Russia’s acquisition and use of North Korean ballistic missiles and escalating attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.”
The secret deployment of long-distance ATAXMS was only announced after the Ukrainian military aid budget bill passed the US Congress.
“Now that we have more authority and budget, we will send more. For operational reasons, I won’t tell you the specific number.”
The Ukrainian military is expected to use this precision-guided missile in a campaign to retake the Crimean peninsula and attack key military positions in Russia.
However, he said he promised not to use it to attack mainland Russia.
One ATACMS warhead has about 900 submunitions with grenade power, which can destroy an area the size of three or four football fields.
He also has a quick strike ability, making interception relatively difficult.
It is also called ‘steel rain’ because debris falls as rain.
It is expected to be a huge help to the Ukrainian army, which is fighting a Russian attack using ballistic missiles from North Korea.
