Students will get inspiration from small entrepreneurs

During this time the students tried to evaluate the effectiveness of microcredit among the poor people in the village.

Entrepreneurs said that the empowerment of women in rural areas has increased to a large extent during the tenure of the current government. Students visit handloom factory, jamdani palli, yarn factory, boutique palli.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahbub Ali said, students should develop entrepreneurial spirit from small and medium entrepreneurs. Professor Ali said that poor women in rural areas are getting fair price due to the good psychoanalysis of the present government in rural areas.

Entrepreneurial Economist, IT Expert and Macro Economist Professor Muhammad Mahbub Ali along with members of the inspection team are Dhaka School of Economics Assistant Professor Rehana Parveen, Assistant Professor Dr. Sara Tasnim and Lecturer Shamim Ahmed.

Students also know about cultural heritage by visiting Bhai Girishchandra’s ancestral home. The relationship between cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit is highly reciprocal.

The total number of participants in the field trip to learn the practice was 80 students from different batches of Entrepreneurial Economics Program of Dhaka School of Economics.
