Chinese Woman Sparks Controversy by Washing Hair on Subway
A Chinese woman has raised eyebrows after being caught washing her hair with shampoo on the subway on her way to work, without paying attention to the people around her.
According to a recent report by China’s Hangzhou Daily, on the subway in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, southern China, a woman took out shampoo from her bag, cupped it in her hand, and started washing her hair.
While the woman was washing her hair, the group held up their mobile phones as if they were filming. The woman washed her hair while looking at herself reflected on the mobile phone screen. Another member of the group even holds a shower ball in his hand.
A subway officer who rushed to receive the complaint stopped her, but the woman laughed anyway.
Netizens responded with comments such as “He thinks the subway is his bathroom,” “Isn’t it too much to wash your hair in a public place?”, “An act of nuisance,” and “The size of the continent is beyond beyond that imagination.”
