Sudan’s national football team achieved a resounding victory over Niger’s national team in the first round of the sixth group of the 2024 African Nations Qualifiers, held in South Sudan today.
Abu Bakr Issa scored the decisive goal for Sudan in the 51st minute of the match, securing a crucial win for the team.
The Sudan national team is part of a competitive group, alongside Niger, Ghana, and Angola, in the 2024 African Nations Qualifiers.
Looking ahead, Sudan’s national team will face Angola on September 9 in the second round of the qualifiers, as they strive to secure a spot in the 2025 African Nations tournament.
The top two teams in each group will qualify for the 2025 African Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco, making every match a crucial step towards the final goal.
