Barca and PSG
In the return match at home, Barca lost miserably with a score of 1-4 against PSG. Barca entered the game impressively and took a 1-0 lead. However, Ronald Araujo suddenly received a red card after fouling Bradley Barcola outside the penalty area, the referee did not even consult VAR. With the advantage, PSG pressed forward to attack and Dembele scored for his former team to equalize 1-1.

The French representative continued to pressure the home team in the second half and scored 3 more goals thanks to Vitinha and Mbappe’s double goal. Besides, Barca also suffered a big loss when coach Xavi was disqualified due to a reaction error.
Winning 6-4 overall after two matches, PSG will face Dortmund in the semi-finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League. This is the third time they have reached the Champions League semi-finals, after 1995 and 2020.
Dortmund and Atletico Madrid
Borussia Dortmund defeated Atletico Madrid 4-2 at home and won the right to enter the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The German team dominated the match and had 2 consecutive goals from minutes 34 to 39 thanks to Julian Brandt and Ian Maatsen. At the beginning of the second half, Atletico rallied and equalized 2-2 thanks to an own goal from Mats Hummels and a goal from Angel Correa. A few minutes later, Dortmund took the lead again after Niklas Fullkrug’s dangerous header. Continuing the excitement, the Bundesliga representative sealed a 4-2 victory with Sabitzer’s goal.

In the end, Dortmund won 5-4 after two matches, thereby participating in the Champions League semi-finals after 11 years of waiting and reuniting with PSG, their opponent in the group stage.
