The Nintendo Switch App update includes a simplified name—now just “Nintendo switch App”—and a redesigned user interface.However, the most significant improvement is the introduction of automatic screenshot and video uploads.
The new automatic upload feature streamlines the process of transferring media from the upcoming switch 2 to smartphones. Users can upload up to 100 files, which will be stored for 30 days.This enhancement addresses a previous cumbersome process involving QR codes and temporary Wi-Fi connections.
Additional features include the ability to receive GameChat invites, get notifications when friends come online, and add new friends directly within the app. Nintendo also addressed bug fixes in this update.
