Taiwan adds 35,632 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, 144 deaths
Xinhua News Agency, Taipei, June 20. The Taiwan Epidemic Command Center announced on the 20th that there were 35,632 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 35,596 local cases and 36 imported cases. The number of moderate and severe cases increased by 295, of which 144 died.
The command center stated that the new local cases were 16,811 males, 18,764 females, and 21 under investigation, aged between under 5 years old and in their 90s. In the distribution of local cases, Taichung still has the most.
The command center said that there were 144 new local deaths that day, including 83 males and 61 females, aged in their 20s to 90s, all of which were severe infections, 139 with a history of chronic disease, and 91 without vaccination3 dose of coronavirus vaccine.
Statistics show that as of now, there have been 3,330,695 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Taiwan, including 3,316,782 local cases, and a total of 5,365 new coronary pneumonia deaths, including 5,350 local cases.
