The new generation E-Class is expected to be introduced to Taiwan in early December, and order information has leaked from the dealer.
The new generation E-Class introduced in Taiwan, the entry-level model is the E200, which comes standard with the AVANTGARDE package and 18-inch wheels. The interior of the car includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument and a 14.4-inch touch screen, as well as MBUX multimedia system, Mercedes Me connect, and Burmester 4D surround sound and many other standard equipment.
The top-spec E300 EXCLUSIVE is the only model in the series that adopts vertical marking.
The mid-level model E300 AMG Line is equipped with the AMG Line package and 19-inch AMG five-spoke aluminum wheels. It is also upgraded with multi-beam smart headlights, luminous water tank guard, panoramic sunroof, etc. The top-spec E300 EXCLUSIVE comes standard with the EXCLUSIVE package and 19-inch ten-spoke aluminum wheels. It is the only standard model in the series. Both front seats have ventilation and heating functions, and it also has interior luxury packages.
The technologically advanced MBUX wide-format screen is an option for all models.
As for the high-tech MBUX wide screen, it is optional for all models, priced at 90,000 yuan. In addition, except for entry-level models, rear axle steering and AIRMATIC air pressure suspension systems can be optionally added for an additional 153,000 yuan. All models come standard with active safety features such as advanced intelligent driving assistance packages and PRE-SAFE active side impact protection.
The power is unified into a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine paired with a 48V light petrol and electric system. The output of the E200 is 204 maximum horsepower and 32.6 kilograms of maximum torque, while the E300 AMG Line and E300 EXCLUSIVE are further increased to 258 maximum horsepower, both using 9-speed Automatic manual transmission and rear-wheel drive settings.
