New Delhi – A young man lost his car, phone, laptop and Rs 18,000 after taking an unknown person to drink. Thirty-three-year-old Amit Prakash, who works in an organization in Gurugram, approached the police with a complaint. This is what Prakash says about the incident.

After leaving the office, he went to a wine shop on Golf Course Road in his own car and drank. He was drunk and gave Rs 20,000, thinking it was Rs 2,000. But the shop owner returned the remaining Rs 18,000. Then he came back to the car and drank again. At this point an unknown man came and asked if he would give me some liquor. He was given alcohol. He then proceeded to Subhash Chowk by car as per his instructions. After letting him out of the car, the unknown person drove away. He was unconscious and could not understand what had happened.

Then he reached home by autorickshaw and metro. According to the complaint, the rest of Rs 18,000 from the wine shop, a laptop and a mobile phone were also in the car. The police are looking for the person who ran away with the car.
