Earlier, on his YouTube channel ‘Tanji Broadcasting Station’, Kim Eo-jun expressed his intention to publicly support Lee, saying, “I am a person who came all the way here alone.” After that, during the election period, Kim Eo-jun continued to appear as a host on ‘Kim Eo-jun’s News Factory’, a current affairs information program.
At the deliberation on this day, 5 out of 9 members gave ‘legal sanctions’, 2 gave ‘recommendation’ that corresponds to administrative guidance, and 2 gave ‘opinion withheld’.
‘Statement of opinion’ is a procedure in which the members of the review committee listen to the broadcaster’s clarification on matters that have decided that legal sanctions are necessary. Statutory sanctions are severe penalties that deduct points in the review process for re-approval of broadcasters.
The schedule for commenting on ‘Kim Eo-Jun’s News Factory’ has not been decided yet. The Election Broadcasting Deliberation Committee will operate until April 8, 30 days after the election day.
