Deputies found Connor Lyons on the back porch. Inside,they discovered lara Lyons with stab wounds on her bed. Authorities said Connor confessed to stabbing his mother three times in the neck while she was sleeping, also stating that he had been hearing voices.

“Yesterday was supposed to be your last day of school before summer break,” one of her sons wrote on Facebook. “I’m so heartbroken, I feel fully destroyed. The impact you had on so many people will never be forgotten.”
