A few days ago, many users discovered that Tesla has stopped providing free portable chargers that originally came with the car to new owners. While interacting with netizens on Twitter, boss Elon Musk confirmed the news. According to him, the decision was made because “the data shows that the usage rate (of this accessory) is extremely low”, so there is no need to “waste” any more. In order to compensate, Tesla will reduce the price of the second-generation charging kit from US$275 to US$200, and will also add more converters of different categories to it, and will simplify the process of adding accessories when purchasing a new car.
